EQUINE FIRST AID LEVEL 2, BARN SAFETY
Level 2 is for everyone, read on to find out why:
It dosen’t matter, if you have one horse at home or run a riding school or boarding barn or own no horse but are riding at someone elses place. Equine First Aid Level 1 and Level 2 are for YOU! This is everybodies responsibility since we all want to keep our equine friends safe, right? This is not the sole responsibility of the barn owner or stable manager but yours, mine and everybodies responsibility. We all have our share.
In level 2 you are going to practise what you learned in level 1, you are going to learn about stable safety, rider safety, spectator safety, horse safety and last but not least, fire safety at any barn.
Who should take this Level 1 and Level 2 Equine First Aid Workshop? In short: everyone who has anything to do with horses, whether you are riding, driving, providing care or hosting an event where horses will participate. If you run a big barn or have a one horse stall at home. Even if you do not have your own horse!
Recreational and professional riders; riding instructors Horse owners and breeders Stable managers and owners Organizers of equestrian events Organizers of civic events where horses will be present Emergency Response Teams (e.g. Police, Fire Fighters, Security, etc.)

Where are the Equine First Aid Workshops held? You can attend workshops at our equestrian facility at Happy Horse Stables, in Portland, or you can host the workshop at your stable/location.
